The Wright Lab is a bioinformatics laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. We are the creators of DECIPHER and SynExtend packages for R. We are specifically interested in genome mining to combat antibiotic resistance.

We are constructing a framework to provide continuing bioinformatics education to small business/start-up companies via an NIH-funded workforce training grant. We are currently recruiting interested companies to optimize design and submit letters of interest to support our application.
